We believe and affirm

That the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and the believer’s sole authority in matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

That God is infinite, unchanging, and holy in all His attributes, that He is the Lord Creator of all things, and that He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 12:13; Revelation 4:8, 11)

That every human being is born with a sinful nature, an inherent tendency toward evil. (Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:10, 23)

That Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man—in His virgin birth, His death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension into Heaven; that He came to earth to offer Himself as the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, and that God mercifully extends salvation to all who believe in Him (John 3:16-18; Romans 5:1; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 2:1-2)

That the Holy Spirit indwells every believer to develop within them the character of Christ and empower them for His service. (Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:22-23; Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:13)

That the Church has two ordinances reserved for believers only: Baptism, in obedience to Christ’s command; and Communion, the symbolic remembrance of Christ’s death on our behalf. (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28)

7.

8.

That the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. (Matthew 24:44; John 14:2-3; Revelation 22:20)

That eternal blessedness is the inheritance of every believer and eternal punishment is reserved for the wicked. (Daniel 12:2-3; Matthew 25:46; John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:15)
