What We Believe

That the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that it is the Christian's sole authority in matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

That God is infinite, unchanging, and holy in all His attributes, that He is the Lord Creator of all things, and that He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19, John 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 12:13; Revelation 4:8, 11)

That every human is born with a sinful nature, an inherent tendency toward evil.

(Psalm 51: 5; Romans 3:10, 23)

That Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth to give Himself as the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, and that God mercifully extends salvation from sin's penalty to all who believe in Him

(John 3:16-18; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 2:1-2)

That the Holy Spirit indwells every believer to develop within them the character of Christ and empower them for His service. (Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:22-23; Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:13)

That the Church has two ordinances reserved for believers only: Baptism, in obedience to Christ’s command; and Communion, the symbolic remembrance of Christ’s death on our behalf.

(Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28)

That the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. (Matthew 24:44; Revelation 22:20)

That eternal reward in Heaven is the inheritance of every believer, and eternal punishment in Hell the destiny of all who reject God’s gracious offer of salvation in Jesus Christ.

(Daniel 12:2-3;  John 5:28-29)
